Abstract: It is becoming increasingly obvious that entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and attitudes can be learned and are of particular importance in meeting the challenges of the 21st century. This paper provides an overview of the main mechanisms and measures to support entrepreneurship education and the main institutional actors involved in the development of entrepreneurship education in the EU countries. The following methods and techniques were used in the investigation process: desk research, critical analysis and generalization of specialized literature and analytical materials, comparative analysis. The research findings have resulted in the identification of proposals on the possibilities of using the EU experience to support entrepreneurship education in the Republic of Moldova.
