    Consumer behavior towards recycled clothing

    In a world increasingly concerned about environmental issues, the fashion industry is witnessing a notable shift in consumer behaviour towards recycled clothing and sustainable fashion. This trend reflects a heightened awareness of the detrimental impact of traditional clothing production on the planet. Annually, the fashion sector consumes 79 billion cubic meters of water, accounting for approximately 20% of global water usage, and emits 1.7 billion tons of CO2, nearly 10% of global emissions, while generating 92 million tons of textile waste. Given the projected growth of the global fashion industry, addressing its substantial environmental and social impacts is crucial. Integrating sustainability practices across the supply chain is imperative. Consumers play a pivotal role in driving this change by making informed choices, demanding transparency from brands, and supporting sustainable products and practices. This article explores consumer behaviour towards recycled clothing, in order to understand the factors that influence consumers' purchase decisions and to identify the barriers and motivations that affect their attitude towards it of recycled clothing. In order to achieve this goal, the study "Consumer Behaviour towards Recycled Clothing in the Republic of Moldova. By elucidating perceptions and behaviours, this research offers insights crucial for fostering responsible consumption and advancing sustainable fashion strategies in the region.

    The digitization of money - challenges and opportunities for the global economy

    In modern society the majority of existing problems and solutions are related to money. Sustainable economic development depends to a major extent on the functionality of monetary financial laws, principles, methods and monetary instruments. Given the role of money held in economy, the problem of controlling the volume of money supply and management of its circulation has been widely studied by economists and researchers all times, each time facing new economic and social realities. The recent development of digital technologies is really a major new challenge not only for society and the whole economy, but also for monetary authorities, and policy promoted by them and economic thought in general. The new digital payment systems, currencies generated by their appearance, which essentially represent something completely different from traditional coin, are innovations that could create new problems for the authorities, problems that need to be identified and resolved in a timely manner. Regardless of whether the crypto-currency is still at an early stage, its occurrence and development cannot be neglected or bounded. The paper aims at presenting digital currency, considering its advantages and disadvantages, as well as its place in the global economy.

    Efficient Waste Management: Economic Aspects

    At present, waste reduction or elimination has become a serious environmental concern for most countries and a priority for companies. Waste is not only an environmental problem but also an economic loss. A prerequisite for flourishing economic activity is the efficient management of waste and other resources. The recovery of waste resources has become an industrial reality due to technological innovations in the era of raw materials shortage. Sustainable materials management goes further than ecological waste management and focuses on the efficient use of available materials. The article aims to research the waste management process, shed light on the place of waste management in promoting the circular economy, and outline positive experiences in this area by highlighting the potential benefits and economic costs of applying these practices. That could serve as an incentive to accelerate efficient waste management processes in the Republic of Moldova. Waste management benefits the environment but also increases the number of companies and jobs. The presented article discusses waste management issues and shows some current issues related to them. The paper the authors wrote within the frame of the state project 20.80009.0807.22. - Developing a mechanism for the circular economy creation in the Republic of Moldova.

    In the current era of climate change and economic challenges, the concept of sustainable budgeting has become increasingly important. Sustainable budgeting is not only about the efficient management of financial resources, but also about the balanced approach to the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In this article, we will explore the importance and impact that smart sustainable budgeting policies can have on the environment, society and economy. We will analyze the practice of foreign countries regarding ways of managing the state’s financial resources and directing them to sectors and projects that promote sustainable development and contribute to the achievement of environmental and social goals.

    Business models for circular economy implementation

    Crises that threaten the viability of our planet: climate change, natural disasters and depletion of natural resources have their roots in the way we use materials and goods. Companies need to update their policies as we move into a circular economy and this is a very important transition for the environment. In a circular economy, production and consumption are increasingly based on responsible raw materials and renewable energy, providing a product as a service, long-term products and reused materials. Companies need to prepare for a change in earnings practices and patterns. In a circular economy, a company creates added value for their products with more services and intelligence. Through this study, we aim to highlight the main barriers that companies may face in the process of implementing circular business models, the knowledge and implementation of which are important at any level of decision making.

    Циркулярная экономика: концептуальное содержание и перспективы

    At present, the circular economy or the Closed-Loop economy is becoming an increasingly relevant topic promoted by the EU, several national governments and many enterprises around the world, which promotes the responsible and cyclical use of resources that possibly contribute to sustainable development. However, its scientific and research content is superficial and disorganized. The concept of a circular economy involves a set of individual ideas from several areas and scientifically unfounded definitions. The purpose of this article is to define the existent studies related to circular economy and to conduct a critical analysis of the prospects for implementing this concept in conditions of a modern economy.

    Non-cash payment - a stringent necessity in pandemic conditions

    Following the latest events in the world, it is definitely sure that the Covid-19 pandemic will drastically change the way people behave both socially and economically. Given the conditions in which we were forced to live, we understood how important it is to be "connected" to non-cash payment instruments. At the moment, it is necessary to “financially educate” the population in this field as soon as possible, while the development of the payment system in the Republic of Moldova and the modernization of payment services, which would meet the needs of individual and corporate consumers, must become a strategic priority. The purpose of this article is to analyse the concept of non-cash payment by identifying the advantages, studying the international experience, as well as the current situation in the Republic of Moldova. In the research process, such scientific methods were applied as: systemic approach, analysis and synthesis, deduction, logical analysis, critical analysis of materials, monographic analysis, comparative analysis, etc. The results of the study consisted in identifying both the advantages and disadvantages of these payment instruments, at the same time, the authors performed an analysis showing that the cap on cash payments imposed (there is a law project to be discussed in the Parliament of Moldova) is not a method of stimulation, but on the contrary there is a risk of obtaining an adverse effect.

    Optimization of monetary creation by linking monetary policies with commercial banks strategies

    The failure of the economic system by the end of the first decade of the XXI century has extended the fields of research of economists; the most discussed being the problems of the monetary economy, especially the key role of commercial banks versus the central banks' policies in starting and spreading the international financial crisis. The monetary authorities together with academicals researchers have to review the monetary policies and tools, through the impact on financial stability and sustainable economic growth.

    Monetary policy force effect by means of banks money creation

    In the context of modern economy, banks play an essential role for sustainable growth, by ensuring economy with financial resources and driving impulses of monetary policy to economy. Monetary authorities influence significantly the bank's ability to fulfill this role. Thus, to achieve macroeconomic objectives, there is promoted particular monetary policy and are implemented various practical regulations for banks. In this article, we want to identify the existing relationship between monetary policy followed by the authorities and the ability of banks to create money with its impact on various practical regulations.
