    Consumer behavior towards recycled clothing

    In a world increasingly concerned about environmental issues, the fashion industry is witnessing a notable shift in consumer behaviour towards recycled clothing and sustainable fashion. This trend reflects a heightened awareness of the detrimental impact of traditional clothing production on the planet. Annually, the fashion sector consumes 79 billion cubic meters of water, accounting for approximately 20% of global water usage, and emits 1.7 billion tons of CO2, nearly 10% of global emissions, while generating 92 million tons of textile waste. Given the projected growth of the global fashion industry, addressing its substantial environmental and social impacts is crucial. Integrating sustainability practices across the supply chain is imperative. Consumers play a pivotal role in driving this change by making informed choices, demanding transparency from brands, and supporting sustainable products and practices. This article explores consumer behaviour towards recycled clothing, in order to understand the factors that influence consumers' purchase decisions and to identify the barriers and motivations that affect their attitude towards it of recycled clothing. In order to achieve this goal, the study "Consumer Behaviour towards Recycled Clothing in the Republic of Moldova. By elucidating perceptions and behaviours, this research offers insights crucial for fostering responsible consumption and advancing sustainable fashion strategies in the region.

    Efficient Waste Management: Economic Aspects

    At present, waste reduction or elimination has become a serious environmental concern for most countries and a priority for companies. Waste is not only an environmental problem but also an economic loss. A prerequisite for flourishing economic activity is the efficient management of waste and other resources. The recovery of waste resources has become an industrial reality due to technological innovations in the era of raw materials shortage. Sustainable materials management goes further than ecological waste management and focuses on the efficient use of available materials. The article aims to research the waste management process, shed light on the place of waste management in promoting the circular economy, and outline positive experiences in this area by highlighting the potential benefits and economic costs of applying these practices. That could serve as an incentive to accelerate efficient waste management processes in the Republic of Moldova. Waste management benefits the environment but also increases the number of companies and jobs. The presented article discusses waste management issues and shows some current issues related to them. The paper the authors wrote within the frame of the state project 20.80009.0807.22. - Developing a mechanism for the circular economy creation in the Republic of Moldova.

    Sustainable budgeting - building the future through smart policies

    In the current era of climate change and economic challenges, the concept of sustainable budgeting has become increasingly important. Sustainable budgeting is not only about the efficient management of financial resources, but also about the balanced approach to the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In this article, we will explore the importance and impact that smart sustainable budgeting policies can have on the environment, society and economy. We will analyze the practice of foreign countries regarding ways of managing the state’s financial resources and directing them to sectors and projects that promote sustainable development and contribute to the achievement of environmental and social goals.

    Business models for circular economy implementation

    Crises that threaten the viability of our planet: climate change, natural disasters and depletion of natural resources have their roots in the way we use materials and goods. Companies need to update their policies as we move into a circular economy and this is a very important transition for the environment. In a circular economy, production and consumption are increasingly based on responsible raw materials and renewable energy, providing a product as a service, long-term products and reused materials. Companies need to prepare for a change in earnings practices and patterns. In a circular economy, a company creates added value for their products with more services and intelligence. Through this study, we aim to highlight the main barriers that companies may face in the process of implementing circular business models, the knowledge and implementation of which are important at any level of decision making.

    Циркулярная экономика: концептуальное содержание и перспективы

    At present, the circular economy or the Closed-Loop economy is becoming an increasingly relevant topic promoted by the EU, several national governments and many enterprises around the world, which promotes the responsible and cyclical use of resources that possibly contribute to sustainable development. However, its scientific and research content is superficial and disorganized. The concept of a circular economy involves a set of individual ideas from several areas and scientifically unfounded definitions. The purpose of this article is to define the existent studies related to circular economy and to conduct a critical analysis of the prospects for implementing this concept in conditions of a modern economy.
