Dezvoltarea croazierelor fluviale în Uniunea Europeană

Abstract

Râurile majore ale Terei au constituit, încă, din antichitate, fundal pentru călătorii. În 450 î.e.n., Herodot pomeneşte despre plimbările pe Nil, pe partea piramidelor. În prezent, râurile constituie resurse turistice semnificative furnizând situri cu valoare culturală şi istorică, peisaje pitoreşti şi oportunităţi de recreere, dar şi suport pentru organizarea croazierelor fluviale. Acest articol urmărește analiza literaturii de specialitate pentru a identifica originile și cursul evolutiv al croazierelor fluviale în Uniunea Europeana.

Earth's major rivers have constituted the travel backgrou nd since ancient times. In 450 BC, Herodotus mentions about the sailing on the Nile to see the pyramids. Currently, the rivers are significant tourist resources providing sites with cultural and historical value, scenic landscapes and recreational opportunities, and support for the organization of river cruises. This article aims to analyze the specialized literature to identify the origins, evolutionary course and the current state of river cruises in the European Union.
