Abstract

Researchers have tried to place innovation as unitary systems within enterprises, or to associate them to an individual, but the fact that they can take place at the sector, industry, region levels, or across the globe has puzzled scientists, who were not able so far to develop a common innovation model system or make radical contributions to Schumpeterian theory. This article makes a foray into the definition of innovation, innovative process, and innovational management in the specialized literature.
