Abstract: | The world economy is going through an energy crisis, which has the direct impact on national economies and the well-being of the population. The energy crisis leads to stagnation of the economy and disruption of economic life, and changes in macroeconomic indicators, both in a state with energy resources and an importing state. This crisis has a direct impact on the energy balance, balance of trade, balance of payments and ultimately on the welfare of the population. The main purpose of the study is to elucidate the causes of the Mondial energy crisis of 2021 and to estimate the impact of this crisis on the economy and the well-being of the population. The following methods were applied in the research: scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, positive and normative analysis, comparative analysis. The research results showed that the neglect of the evolution of the demand for energy resources and the inefficient management of the energy sector resulted in the energy crisis of 2021. |
